Last night H and I were having a very in depth discussion at dinner about how neither of us "get" Formula 1. Other than seeing cars go vroom, can someone please explain what's good about it?

I think what I don't get is how you can like or support a particular driver, surely it just depends on what car they're in? Is there really that much actual skill involved?

American X Factor and America's Got Talent - I don't mind the our versions of these shows (although they are starting to get a little tedious) but the US versions are just cringeworthy. OH loves them though ?

Even though I've got an iphone I am going to add iphones to the list - I only got one because my Samsung Galaxy S kept conking out on me and I heard they were really reliable but they are SO boring to use! I can't wait to get rid of it next year!
