Things you've never done

Ooh I'm the same with a bike RR, I used to ride as a child but just can't do it anymore, as I found out when we went to centreparcs a few years ago!

I used to work with someone who had never climbed the wrong way up a slide and thought we all were odd because we had. I've never licked a battery which is apparently unusual but I don't know why you would.

I've also never been to the tower of london, I've never been to spain or greece, I've never been on a roller coaster that went upside down!

My husband has never tried tea or coffee in his life ?

I've never had a passport or been on a plane.

With a lot of b1tching and moaning, LOL.

He drinks a fair bit of coke zero during the day, so he does like his caffeine. I think he got to about 18 having never tried them, and after that it was just sheer stubbornness refusing to try them as people would continually try to get him to.

He refused to make me a tea or coffee until about a year into our relationship, claiming "how can I make it right if I don't know what it's supposed to taste like". He caved on my birthday, and now he's a regular tea/coffee maker. Still not a drinker.

There is such an amazing big wide world out there. This makes me sad ☹️

I've never been to a festival, broke a bone, played chess, watched game of thrones or lord of the rings either, bunjee jumped (would love to), tried any drugs (wouldn't love to), had a burger king or a kebab (again wouldn't want to)

Minds blank can't think of much and bet theres loads haha!

Mine doesn't drink any hot drinks either!! Weirdos haha

I've never broken a bone, never kissed a girl, never lived on my own, never seen LOTR or Star Wars, never been in water where I can't touch the ground, never tried anything other than 'plain' in Nando's... those are my immediate thoughts

I've never even been in Nandos haha! I can go a bike but i've never learned to swim..can't remember if i had some lessons in school but i'm so awful at it and can't do it a lot. Never find me in deep water!

I think nobody ever goes to touristy things if they're local to where they live. They're generally expensive, and seem an odd thing to do if you live in the area!

I do think this should now turn into a *Challenge yourself to do something off your list by the end of the year* type thing, but I'm struggling to think of something for myself ? I had quite a few pre OH, like never had a KFC, never stayed overnight at a festival, never had a jagerbomb etc, but these are all things he introduced me too. I introduced him to Prosecco and Cheese Boards, so you can see the lilt in our relationship ?

There must be tonnes of things..... Just can't quite think of one..... Must try harder.....

I have never:

ridden a motorbike/moped, owned a dog, lived in a house with a garage, eaten a saveloy, successfully baked a cake, watched breaking bad, watched game of thrones, wated or read lord of the rings.

It's hard thinking of things you haven't done.

I too have never watched Star Wars (which is weird, as I like sci fi)

I've also never been to a big live music event (stadium, park, festival, theatre) other than classical stuff - i.e. nothing bigger than a band in a pub.

I've never owned a mammal as a pet, only goldfish. Incidentally the stories of their various demises are both tragic and a little bit hilarious: Fred threw himself out of the bowl kamikaze style, Sammy was so small he got washed down the drain, and George got so fat he got stuck under the ornamental bridge and drowned... hence the decision not to have pets, that and my parents didn't like them.

Ummmm let's see, what else?

I've never played scrabble, never had a puff of a cigarette, never tried seafood (not likely now as veggie for 29 years) that's all I can think of right now.

I have never been to a festival or watched any of the major trilogy series, LOTR, Matrix, Star Wars etc nor GOT.

I also dont drink tea or coffee, but I have tried them.

Oooh, I've never learned to swim anything other than breaststroke and I've never owned an animal that wasn't a cat!

I have never been on a roller coaster, worn false eyelashes or nail extensions or been on a tyre swing.

Oooh inspired by Mini's post, I've never successfully cooked anything!

Sorry, I know it's a hard (and slightly weird) post but thought it was interesting to see what people haven't done. I wish I'd never taken a puff of a cigarette!

I'm watching this list with a keen eye, to try and jolt me to think of something original!

So far from the list I have a bingo with these two (I'm not counting things I have no intention of ever doing, eg, bungee jumping due to bad back, taking drugs etc):

Never ridden a motorbike (my husband reckons that's not that common though...)

Never had a dog (saving that for retirement)

Other things that have now sprung to mind:

I've never seen Sesame Street.

Never been inside a caravan.

Never bought a newspaper (except when my dad sent me out to get him one as a child....which doesn't count as it wasn't for me).

Never cooked or boiled an egg (I'm allergic so no point)

never eaten a curry, the smell alone makes me feel sick

never parked in a multi storey car park, they make me panic and I will go out of my way to park outside!

never had a pet that isn't a rat!

I've never ridden a motorbike, worn fake tan, watched GoT or got a tattoo.

Don't be sad! I don't have much money, but Im sure if I really wanted to go somewhere I could save very long and hard to get there. I'd just rather spend my money on tattoos and shiny things.

I've never broken a bone either. I had my femur broken by my surgeon in order to have my leg lengthened, but I've never had an accident and broken anything. Never really had any accidents come to think of it, all my surgery has been planned. Unless you count being born upside down as an accident

Now this one makes me sad! Sesame Street educated me. I have a deep love for it. I often spend an hour watching video clips on YouTube.

I have never wore fake tan. I don't really understand the point of it to be honest and it seems like way too much hassle to me. So it's not just you Peanut!

I very rarely have hot drinks -maybe once a year if l am ill. I have jasmine tea, hot chocolate or lemsip. Not a fan of tea or coffee, the smell of coffee makes me want to throw up.

I've never seen a Star Wars film either.

I've never broken a bone. (I don't even like writing that down - I feel like I'm tempting fate)

I've never played chess (I find it hilarious that H used to play chess for his county, the big geek)

I used to be able to say I'd never been to Nandos. Now I've been once and I wish I could still say I'd never been to Nandos.

I've never had a Savaloy Dip from Dixons in Shields. Apparently this is sacrilege.

I've never seen Breaking Bad or 24.

I've never owned an mp3 player/ipod. (I also don't use my iphone to listen to music).

And one I'm quite ashamed of - I've never read To Kill a Mockingbird. I've only seen the film.

I like this game!

Taking inspiration from others, I have never:

Broken a bone

Drank a cup of tea (I have tasted it, I can't stomach more than a sip)

..........and based on the fact that I can't think of anything other than things people have already suggested, it's possible that I have also never had an original thought!

Until really recently my mum had never taken money out of a cash point - scary!

tried cigarettes or drugs

had a one night stand or fling

But I have been on the London eye! On Monday it will have been 6 times!

I've never been abroad or had a passport. I don't drink tea, coffee or alcohol (though technically I have tried them). I've never taken drugs or smoked. I've never broken any bones and I've never had a full time job (at 30 that is shameful).

Sadly I can't add licking a battery to my list - I have indeed licked one!

Not just me then! Although technically I have been abroad, I went to Germany with my school when I was 13. We just had a group passport for that (showing my age there).
