This dress and jewellery?

conwc002, 4 December, 2012 at 08:32 Posted on Planning 0 10

My dress hasn't got any sparkle on it I may nearer the time get scatter crystals on the side but do you think this jewellery set would go with it?

You look beautiful in your dress! I think the tiara and earrings would be perfect - I'm just sure on the necklace, only because it is quite statement, and you don't want to take away from the beauty of your dress. Maybe a more simple drop necklace would be better? x

    Hiya!

Firstly, you look gorgeous! Love the dress!

I recently posted something up about jewellery as i love statement jewellery but wasnt sure whether it would be too much. I dont normally wear single drop necklaces so im not wearing one on the day, plus, im not really slim so it would make me look bigger (if that makes sense).

    I have decided on this : /sale-c159

As it matches the shapes of the beading on my dress, i have also bought the matching earrings because they were only £8 but i dont know whether i will wear them or not or just studs.

I love your necklace, its very simliar to one i was looking at originally. I went and tried my dress on with my necklace and it finished it off nicely.

Maybe you could order the set and go and try it on? Or get something similar from in town and then return it?

    Nat

    Lovely dress.

The jewellery is lovely too, but I would say that maybe a tiara and earrings and necklace are maybe a bit much all together.

Could you have tiara, earrings and bracelet instead?

I could just have earrings bracelet and tiara I was worried that the dress may look too plain without a necklace though? So hard to tell when it's not on me x

I think if you add scatter crystals, then definitely stick to the less is more rule.

You have to feel comfortable. Can you go and try the sample on with some jewellery and see what you think? I was against having a necklace, but at my first fitting, I took one with me just in case and it confirmed that I didn't want one.

Gorgeous! I don't think you need a necklace. Tiara, earrings, bracelet and veil will look great.

    Stunning dress.

If you had your heart set on the necklace I would perhaps just wear simple stud earrings and a smaller, simpler hair accessory.

This is my dress with my necklace on, dress isnt done up properly so it looks a bit bit but you get the idea.

Not to everyones taste i know but i love it, but just thought i would give you an idea of a necklace with the dress.

I love it. I think the bling would really complement the dress.

Necklace looks lovely with your dress, just right, not to much.

Im looking for a really chunky necklace for my dress as my dress is so plain.

I'd be tempted to leave the necklace off as your neckline is quite high so with a detailed necklace your neckline could look a bit too "busy". I'd go with a tiara, earrings and bracelet personally.
