I'm noew so indulge me - where and when you getting married? ?

We're getting married on 31st October (but not Halloween themed!) on a vineyard in Sussex. Its actually home (although we live in Switzerland at the moment), so its very much a diy wedding with us decorating everything ourselves, hiring equipment, having a hogroast, making a lot of the food, etc...Autumn/garden party theme...

I live just outside Haywards heath. I think there are a couple, Emmyroo who gets married tomorrow (!!) is a sussex lass, and I think there are a couple of newbies from round our way too!

I can most certainly confirm the last month flies by! I'm getting married tomorrow ? and I really don't know where the last few weeks have gone!

How are your plans coming along?

Groom - is it you who is making a huge load of pumpkin soup? Have you tried the Tana Ramsay recipe yet??!!

Good luck for tomorrow December! Glad to hear the last month went quickly for you! Plans are all good - have been doing a few last minute things this week like paying some bills, confirming with the wedding singer and DJ our song lists, changing my ring for one that fits (brought in January and when I tried it on last week it literally fell off my finger - luckily the wonderful shop were willing to exchange it, even though they normally have a 30 day policy). Need to speak to the photographer, but I think she must be busy or away at the moment - am sure she'll catch up with us soon. And then its only the stuff the week before the wedding to do I think. Only thing set for this weekend is changing the wheels on the car and checking it has oil and water (maybe tidy it a bit too!).

Yup spangles - its us having the mahousive amount of pumpkin soup. Have been practicing my recipies here, to my secret formula, but I may go get some more pumpkin this weekend and try the Tana Ramsey recipe as I know my version is probably too spicey for most people!

How exciting! Definitely try the TR recipe - lusheroony! It's not spicy and even my OH (who hates pumpkin soup) loved it!

Ah I bet you're super excited! I'm getting married October 31st too but next year! Mine won't be Halloween themed either though I do want little Jacko Lanterns for table decorations ? Definitely going with an Autumn feel too, it's my favourite season, and I'm an October baby.
