Those not putting RSVP cards in their invites..............

The Sock Chicken, 21 February, 2010 at 17:02 Posted on Planning 0 16

Are you putting the RSVP address at the bottom of your invite or on the guest info sheet?

I put it on the bottom of the invite. If it's on the guest sheet and that is lost then there is more chance the invitation will have been put somewhere safe. I always lose the guest info sheets.

We put ours on the bottom on the invitations. We didn't do info sheets but probably would have put it on there too if we did.

We put printed postcards in with the invites so all people had to do was tick a box to say they were/weren't coming. We even put stamps on. - And still half of them didn't reply and we had to chase them up ?

We've put the RSVP address on the invite and have put the date we want them back by on the invite and guest info sheet. we've also printed off a msall RSVP card for the guests to fill in nad inculded a small envelope with our RSVP address on, although no stamp on them so waiting to see how many we will need to pay for from the post office with people forgetting!! We posted our day invites yesterday for our wedding, a bit early I know but as it's on a Friday and holiday time we thought we had best get the main guests to sort themselves out. We aren't sending evening ones out for a couple of weeks yet as we haven't made the inserts for them.

I will be putting them at hte bottom of the invites.

Where are you all having the RSVP's go to? Do they go to your house or your parents house?

Have you put a address, telephone number and email?

We are having the RSVPs coming to us, but that's because we are hosting the wedding, and have the invites worded from us. I think if you are inviting from your parents, then it's traditional to have them go to their address.

Decided now that we will put on bottom of invite, not going to bother with phone number, as I would prefer it in writing or I might forget, like someone else said!
