Those who had ordered Michael Jackson tickets

jaz, 7 July, 2009 at 09:42 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 8

Are you going for a full refund or getting the tickets? Are the tickets really anything special or is it solely a ploy from the organisers to get some money?

I didn't order one but saw one on the news last week (at least i think it was one). It looked quite cool - had a hologram of mj the full length of the back of the ticket.

We had tickets (for the opening night- am gutted!) but I don't really 'get' the idea of having a commemorative ticket of something I never went to, so will be getting a full refund.

I'm getting a full refund. The tickets look cool but like Roxycat said what's the point of having a ticket for something you didn't see?

well the cynical side of me is telling me it's so they don't have to cough up for the ticket refunds.

Hmmm I bought 4 but I would consider keeping one if possible. If I have to either refund them all or keep them all I'd definitely go for the refund!! H is sort of into memorbillia type stuff so I think he's giving more thought to it than me...

I'm getting a full refund. I think that all those who bought a seat should still receive the ticket, given that you'd have got the ticket to keep and have seen the concert if it had gone ahead. I don't see why you now have to pay for the privilege of having a ticket which you would have got anyway.

I hadn't thought of it like that, had he died closer to the concert you would have had both the ticket and refund!

You can get a partial refund and keep a ticket. https://www.michaeljackson.com

Sun, of course it's so they can make some money but I'm not playing in to it! ?

I'd buy the DVD of the rehersals though.

I would like my money back - the tickets weren't bloody cheap! But I would prefer it if they put a memorial concert on instead. I wasn't meant to be going until September, and I would have thought there would be enough people who would jump at the chance to perform.

I don't like the idea of the organisers going bankrupt because everyone wants their money back though.
