Thanks for this Claire - just reminded me I was supposed to send the cheque for the church yesterday!

    I still have to do:

    Buy one more usher gift

Get eyebrows done (need to book)

    Get nails done (booked)

Pick up engagement ring (currently being rodium plated)

    Wrap presents

    Fill favour boxes

    Get dress steamed

Pick up nephew's suit - picked up the others on Sat, but he had put on weight and it was a bit small, so needs changing

Press bridesmaids dresses and then final fitting when they arrive the week of the wedding

    Pack for honeymoon

    Get currency for honeymoon

Buy soon to be stepdaughter a strapless bra

Think that's everything, looks like loads, but only little things!

    Right:

Make up boxes for each table to take to venue

Buy one more usher shirt as we're one down somehow??

Hair appt (Wed), make appointments for leg wax, eyelash tint, nails etc

Find an extra guest as we're currently paying for a meal which won't be eaten! Anyone here called Alan and available on the 8th?!

And that's pretty much it actually! All my thank you cards are written too! ?

Just organised the currency, really pleased with myself as I got a good deal with my bank- so it may be worth ordering yours through your bank if you've not got it yet. Check on moneysupermarket as it will tell you the best rates/deals.

I'm impressed that the H2B is doing the table plan zippy!

Today I have managed to: get readers present, clothes for morning of wedding, tops to iron transfers onto, cards for wedding party, gift wrap, present for reader, sort out heel stoppers, wedding shopping with Mum, ironed out some details with MIL2B over phone, done our table plan to send to venue (they are printing it in neat for us, we just send a rough plan....fab!), ordered currency, booked car parking for whilst we are on honeymoon, and also boringly ordered car tax. Also treated myself to a new lens for my dSLR...was an ebay bargain though, so don't feel too bad.

Oh, and also practiced first dance with H2B!

Wow you have been very busy today. H2B is a graphic designer, so most of the stationary is his job.

My current job is trying to find a nice pen for signing the guest book. Have been searching all week.

    You can indeed!

    https://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/1049329/product/Crystalline_Ballpoint_Pen,_white_pearl.html?CatalogCategoryName=0611

There are more choices if you look through the stationery section of the website. I think there is a swarovski shop in the new centre in Cambridge too, by John Lewis.

Also, Accessorize do pretty ones for £3.50

I got some, but scared to take them in the day as they say they can cause drowsiness. I have been using Rescue Remedy instead and it's working a treat. No upset tummy since I started!

    Holland and Barratt

You can take it whenever you feel anxious or stressed, its a herbal flower mix, just a couple of drops on the tongue when needed. I plan to have mine with me on the day and will prob have a few drops before I walk down the aisle!

I took rescue remedy religiously for about 2 weeks before the wedding.

There is also a night time one you can get too which you take before going to sleep - definitely helped and no drowsiness

Geminibebe, of couse you can join us!

Yesterday I managed to do lots of wedding and non-wedding related jobs: sorted out three insurance policy renewals/cancellations, send table plan to venue, purchesed the heel stoppers for the female members of the wedding party, purchased cards for MIL2B and H2B, got disposable cameras for my flowergirl as I have set her a photo challenge (got the from poundland, bargain!), got my 'going away' outfit, Mum got me a nice top for the morning after the wedding too, had lunch with Mum, got the last few bits for emergency kit, got final top for putting diamante transfers onto, re-arranged an activity for Saturday night as we're having a very relaxed second hen do, and took the cat to the vets. Phew!

Today I need to: Burn 1st dance song onto disc, sort out a taxi for Saturday night, print reading onto card, check with Mum if she wants her nails doing, iron the transfers onto the t-shirts etc, contact jewellers about getting ring cleaned, and start packing some bits up for the wedding if I get time. Also need to do boring jobs like buying some food for dinner and posting some letters, boo! Oh, and Wednesdays is also when we go to ceroc, so this evening is taken up by that!

    My ticker is worrying me!

H2B has gone stag weekend today. I've spent most of the day tidying the house, knowing I'll be able to keep it tidy hehehe, my friends and family are visiting over the weekend too. I also managed to get to the doctors to ensure I have enough medication for whilst we are away, chse up honeymoon tickets, put together the 'emergency kit', and make up the gift bags. By the way, if anyone else if planning on this, ironing those transfers onto t-shirts etc takes a bit of practice!!

Tomorrow is hair, eye brows, e-ring cleaning, book table for dinner after rehersal.

    How's everyone else getting on?
