I've been reading about the 5:2 diet with some interest as it appeals to the foodie/pastry chef/lack of willpower in me!
Basically it means you eat normally for 5 days a week and for the other two days (non-consecutive) you restrict to under 500cals. It comes from intermittent fasting where people don't eat at all for two non-consecutive days and just drink water but obviously a bit easier as you can have a couple of snacks.
Has anyone done it? Thoughts on it?
