Tiara or no tiara.. that is the question!

bride26, 20 April, 2012 at 21:11 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hey ladies just wondering who it blinging it up and who isnt? im trying to decide wether to wear a tiara or not, im wearing a veil (still need to buy) but im not fancy enough for a tiara and somehow feel id look better without.. Ive got long blonde hair (under boob length, thats long as after 2 kids they are heading south LOL) anyway.. im having it looseley curled/waved and a teeny bit pulled back so i can have the veil clipped in at the back (low down) and whenever i try the tiara on i dont feel "right" anyone else had this? lol.

Thankies! x

I had a tiara... But then decided it wasn't very me so I sold it on. I also don't like where side tiaras sit on my head, they look too far forward. I have a simple hair comb, but I may not even wear that!

I do have a very simple, but beautiful veil though.

I am thinking that I wont have my veil on for much more than the ceremony, so I am having a tiara to give me some bling for the rest of the day!

    Hi,

How about a band design instead. This is half tiara/half band as it's shaped so fit so doesn't stand proud on your head and the design doesn't have any height to it so it will just add some detail without being OTT.

    or this straight band

It depends on what your dress is like as well as to what materials would suit it but all my designs can be adapted to suit. Loads more options on the website www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk and this album with other brides might be useful https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.146327482049811.31431.138437779505448&type=3. If you need any help feel free to email me.

I didn't have a tiara (really don't like them). I had a fresh flower in my hair instead plus my veil. I also had my hair exactly as the OP has described.

    Hi,

How about a hair comb - it could be pinned above the veil. It may just add a little bit of sparkle. When I watched Breaking Dawn Part 1 - I loved the way Bella had a hair comb with her hair - pinned back.

You could create something similar with your hair loose.
