Tiara/pin - help!

keltom, 30 May, 2008 at 11:02 Posted on Planning 0 14

Have been sorting out my hairstyle for the big day and have decided to have this hair piece that is like a tiara but only fits across the centre of my head and grips in, doesn't have the side bands. Does anyone know if they have a special name as wouldn't mind looking at a few others before making a decision. Thank you!

    Tiara combs? I don't have any made like this on my website but Purrfect Gems has made her accessory for her own wedding this way (I think).

    Definitely sounds like a smaller tiara set on a comb. I have a few;

    I'm really not sure from your description what you mean. Do you mean a tiara which is on a comb which slides into tthe hair like these https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/index_files/comb_tiaras.htm If so I would really only recommend one if you are wearing your hair up and are going to push it in to the hair as they don't sit well on hair that is down. You would be far better with a full tiara in tthat case.

    Hi

    I make tiaras and combs etc. Feel free to have a browse through the website or email me some ideas etc and I'll make up a design for you. Most "tiara" designs can be put on either a comb or clip too so you don't have to have them on a band.
