Tiaras - Can you flash yours please?

Icklefee, 15 August, 2013 at 22:00 Posted on Planning 0 14

I'm now on the hunt for a tiara and looking for inspiration. I've seen some beautiful ones but just want to make sure I'm not missing out on something truly amazing. This is my current favourite

I love that tiara you picked - it's so pretty and delicate ❤️ This is mine I won it in a competition but it's perfect as pearls are part of our wedding scheme/theme and I am having a 1940's hair down style so it should go really well with that. It's much prettier in real life!

IckleFee the tiara in your OP is gorgeous ❤️

Mine is a 'crown' of vintage wax flowers in white..all being well at least. It's my grandmas from when she got married. My grandma died when I was 5 months old , so I never got to meet her 'officially', this makes sure she's with me on the day. I might not be able to use it yet as it's very discoloured - my grandad was a heavy smoker and didn't store it well ☹️. If I can clean it up and spruce it up a little it will be my headpiece on the day.

Otherwise I'm having one of these, still undecided. They are custom made.

I haven't yet, my mum is trying to clean it. I'll put it on the list of things to try, thank you Smiley smile

The other suggestion I've had so far was beeswax polish and a cotton wool bud.

I'll let you know how it goes Smiley smile I am really hoping we can spruce it up!

    Thank you x
