Hello everyone.

I just thought I would jump in and say hello, my partner and I have decided to tie the knot in May 2015 on our tenth anniversary. I've been on this website constantly for the past week, it's so addictive!

Looking forward to getting to know you all and share my planning with you.

    Congratulations! 10 years is a very good start to a long lasting relationship, well done (and a nice milestone to mark too with a big party!) Nice to meet you and we'll see you around a lot I'm sure!

    Welcome! I am also marrying my OH on our tenth anniversary and I have seen a few others say the same so it's clearly a great time to pick...either that or we're all procrastinators lol ?

    I went to view my first venue today, had to hold back from booking it there and then, it was lovely. Have got three more viewings next week, really want to book within the next month.

    Welcome to Hitched!

    I wouldn't say it's too early to get the venue booked. Only thing to bear in mind is that they may put prices up between now and 2015. Try and see if they will honour this year's prices if you book soon.

    Hi, welcome to Hitched! I agree, it's definitely not too early to look at booking your venue. We booked ours 2 years in advance, it makes it feel a lot more real once the venue is booked!

    Congratulations and welcome to Hitched :-) Definitely don't think it's too early to book a venue, as Kharv said you could see if they could honour a cheaper price for 2015. I know I wouldn't be able to hold back if I walked into a venue and loved it... Someone would definitely have to hold me back! Wait and see what the other three look like, and ask if they would honour a price for 2015 perhaps. Good Luck :-)
