tmr1234... ive got a question please or if anyone can help me get supplies for red rose topiary tree.

Hello, can I ask where you got your supplies from to make your topiary trees?? I went to hobbycraft today, and the prices for everything wern't too bad, but the flowers were quite expensive, as they were £8.99 for a bunch of about 10 roses. Also, I wasnt sure what size foam balls id need, I dont want them to be too big, but big enough to stand out. I was looking at the 12 cm balls, but even they were £2.49 each. Ive searched online and cant find any craft places selling silk red roses at good prices, as I need to make 6 topiary trees

I got my balls off ebay £1 each i think they where 12" i got my pots from ikea and the flowers i got from a flower supplers in bertonwood nr st helens. i used a big pice of dowling from B&Q and cut it down for the stems

thanx tmr1234, thats great help. There like mini trees, they have a ball of flowers at the top, then a rod in a plant pot. if you google them pics will come up, sorry dont know how to insert a pic of one for you yellowbutterfly
