To describe something as "a bit Z Cars" - WTF?

Janna, 4 September, 2008 at 20:51 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 7

Someone's described some design work on a website as a bit 'Z cars'. I have no idea what they could mean, even having Googled.

Any thoughts?

I'd say clunky and old fashioned (or possibly black and white?). Not exactly a modern reference though ?

I think it was a police programme (a bit like The Bill) from the 60s/70s.

tut! the yoof of today ?

My mum and dad were always saying how they liked z cars but mum apparently prefered Dixon of Dock Green.
