To everyone who has made their own invites?

Wow, ummm depends on who buys us gifts...... i have 60 coming to the day so i might make 30-35...but as we have no gift list etc I cant tell...

When I had my quote for stationery I asked for as many thank you cards as initites plus a few extra - assuming that everyone will come and I will write and thank them for doing so, plus thank yous for suppliers plus if anyone can't make it as still sends us a card I will want to send a thank you /sorry you couldn't be there card with some cake.

I'm waiting until after and hoping to use a photo from the day in the design. First I was dead against that but saw some samples and it can look really nice.

My friend made ours - about 50-60 I think. Basically one for every person/couple/family - same amount as the invites - and a few extras.

I sent them to everyone who attended whether or not they bought us a gift (we did have a list), plus to anyone who sent a gift and didn't come, because to me it wasn't about thanking people for a specific present, it was about the time, effort and money they spent on just attending our day. Doing the same number as invites + about 10 seemed right.

The ones I had left over I used for suppliers.

I am of to get some more card tonight, so will sart getting some more for doing these as well.

I love the idea about a picture after the day, I could easily fold all the cards ready and do a picture afterwards oh some ideas. Will speak to h2b tonight
