I will also be on ebay looking at wedding things, although i do that every day anyway!

Trying not to panic too much about starting my NQT year on Monday.

Imagining my wedding now that OH has agreed to a format. And probably looking on Etsy, blogs and ebay for pretty things.

I tried vistaprint but they won't let me do cards printed on the inside of the card as well (as in, a picture there). I'm using optimal print, but the files need to be fiddled with in GIMP for resizing, resolution, and editing to add text etc, etc. I'm getting there now - I have the inside done, just need to design the card front now.

Finally finding some res shoes for my daughter that are small & pretty enough to go with her flower girl dress.

Later I will be making some more 'flowers' for my brooch Boquet assisted by a nice cold pear cider.

.....Trying to convince myself that i'm not crazy, and that actually it's perfectly reasonable to send out wedding invitations 6 months or so in advance (If i'm honest I was thinking more 9 months)

I googled wedding invitation etiquette this morning and found out (much to my dismay) that apparently 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding is when invitations should go out. Surely this isn't true!? ?

Working in this industry has given me such a skewed perspective on when is/isn't the right time to do things. I'm so used to everything being done a year or two in advance for weddings that 8 weeks before is mega scary close.

I thought it was 3 months? That's what we did. Evening invites matter less and can be 6-8 weeks

I'm slowly coming to terms with my irrationality and hope that one day I will appreciate that just because my weekends are often booked up a year in advance due to work, it doesn't mean that everyone elses will ?

I honestly don't know what i'm envisioning....that best friends will not be able to come because they'd planned a trip to the pub 9 months ahead of time? As if. I'm just odd.

My wedding is in 70days - Im only just making wedding invites to send next week!!

Send a save the date and it save on the worry on sending invites so far in advance ?

I sent all our invites out 6 months in advance!

Today we have paid the final payment to the venue, a little bit scary! Tomorrow final payment for the TOG and then just chair cover lady and hairdresser to go - Yeah!

Ohhh I love home made invites I am recovering from our pre anniversary yesterday by having more drinks and dinner (later!) with my boy!

Thank you! I was trying to plan and write a SOW but I decided I should be spending my summer relaxing as I'll not get much chance for that once school starts. We have two INSET days, thank god! I can't believe Autumn 1 is 8 weeks, crazy.

I made confetti cones...so much harder than they looked!

We also picked our 1st dance and decided what to do on our minimoon in Dublin ?
