Don't forget to ask for a discount if you don't want all the extras. We didn't want a DVD 'collage' or an engagement shoot so I managed to knock the price down for ours. If they quote over your budget then tell them what you were hoping to spend - they might be able to help. You haven't got anything to lose by asking.

I have no idea what style we want just traditional shots.

We are not bothered about a pre-shoot, would like a disc with the photo's on though and an album. I wil have to look around the wedding fayres, didn't realise how expensive photographers could be.

Have a look at Haydn Rydings, he's Manchester based so I'm sure he'd travel. If you can wait a few weeks I could show our wedding photos!

Another photographer we really liked was Jules Fortune who's based in Rossendale but again I'm sure she'd travel.

....Great place...I did a corporate job up there with its school and was fascinated by the towns structure......from the generally high end through to the small yet pertinent estate. An intriguing balance and mix to the area.....quite unlike most other towns....very posh mainly although with a run down estate at the "other" end(I don't mean that in a snobbish way).......I was welcomed by the members of that estate and have fond memories of my time with them.?
