Tog on wedding day questions...

*PrincessMeMa*, 26 June, 2013 at 21:45 Posted on Planning 0 6

Just a couple of things...

I have my tog coming to take pics in morning before going to venue, how long should I allow for this? I need to determine what time to tell makeup and hair ladies.

Also would it be a good idea to offer a meal? We're having a buffet style sit down, so plenty to go around

Thanks x

I usually work around their timings rather than them work around mine. Ask the hair and make up Ladies how long it will take and tell your TOG to come at X time working around them.

Regarding food, it's always lovely to offer. They might like to sort themselves out but will probably be very grateful for the offer.

It depends how far it is between where you leave from and the ceremony venue........90 minutes is a good guideline though before the ceremony(as long as you aren't late getting ready)?

Mine came at the same time as my make up lady. By then my hair had already been done but I think that he took some pictures of my hair being titivated just for effect! Offering your tog a meal is always a good idea IMO as it is a long day for them!

Don't forget that if you have only one tog, they need to be away in time to get the shots of your OH and his family, ushers, best man etc before the ceremony......

Oh very good point, I didn't think of that.

I will discuss this with him at our next chat. Thanks!

For bridal prep I usually say 1.5 hours before the bride plans to leave the house. If there's plenty to go around I'd offer them a meal Smiley smile
