I think it's polite to offer your photographer food and drink.?

My photographers have it in the contract that we have to provide them food and accommodation.

Hi babe, some togs do have it in their contract, especially if they are with you all day and well into the night. If your photographer is staying while you are all having your wedding breakfast then its polite to ask if they would like some sandwiches put aside for them. However I never asked for this and would always bring my own food anyways, but the times I have been offered has been lovely and a nice treat!

Our tog has stated in his contract that he doesn't expect to be fed as we have enough to pay for.

Its a shame that some venues want to charge extra for this to screw every penny they can from the day when many venues will give the tog something at no cost to the couple.

We asked every TOG we met with if they would like food!

The TOG we've gone with (2 of them) would like something to eat as they're with us until the first hour or so of the evening reception. They've said some bar food would be great, they don't require the full 3 course meal we're having!

My thinking is that you'd have a good relationship with your TOG and so would want to make sure they are fed and watered - although I appreciate it is an extra cost. As our wedding is during Ramadan our TOG will be fasting but I'll be making sure there is something around for her to break her fast with and she is more than welcome to join us for the BBQ.

To echo what others have said, firstly check your contract and if there's nothing specific in there, consider how long you have him for the day and what you think he'd need. Or of course you could just ask him!

Our Tog has it in his contract that he'd like a meal as he will be with me from about 11am til 9pm. We plan to feed him & his second shooter as guests, though we did check that he would be happy with this.
