TopTable Arrangement....

Charliechoo14, 21 January, 2010 at 09:49 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hi All,

I'm now looking forward to the seating arrangements for the top table...OH's Mum and Dad are separated and do not speak to eachother...they are both happy to seat on the top table but just not nect to eachother. Also OH would like his step dad on the top table. Have you any suggestions to how I can seat them??

There would be me, OH, MOB, FOB, MIL, FIL, BM, Bman and Step FIL.

Thanks in Advance xxx

Umm, tough one. If you're set on having a 'top table' then all I can think is to randomly mix them up!

Traditional seating would be BMan, MOTG, FOTB, Bride, Groom, MOTB, FOTG, BM so can you not add in SFOTG between MOTG and BMan?

You could arrange it like this if its a long table:-

BestM, MOB, FIL, BM, Groom, Bride, FOB, MIL, Step FIL so in effect you have male, female etc keeping your mum away from your dad and MIL and Step FIL next to each other away from your H2B's father.

I hope this helps. I had step parents too but they didn't sit on our top table! ?
