Touche Eclat Q

Is it really worth the extra money?

I tried the Loreal equivalent this am & thought it was good, but would be happy to fork out the extra if it is really worth it

Cheers

No it's not worth the money. You can get cheaper ones that do just the same.

    I like Tescos Barbara Daleys(sp?) version. I think it's around £5

The Boots No 7 version is excellent, and imho it's not worth paying the extra for the YSL.

Practically all of my makeup and products are No7 but I just can't use their version of the TE. It dries the skin under my eyes really badly.

Virgin Vie is another one at about half the price, I'd certainly recommend

    Hi,

I use TE & have tried the Barbara Daly one, but found it to be a bit watery so ended up going back to TE.

It's the one thing in my make up bag that I caouldn't do without!

I've tried all the other makes mentioned, and always end up going back to Touche Eclat, everything else is similar but doesn't feel the same and is never quite as good. I have all sorts of make up from MAC to Superdrug, but I won't scrimp on TE at all.

If you scour the t'interweb you can get it much cheaper than in store.

Thank you all - may try some other brands in-store first then as the reviews seem quite mixed (as to which brand to chose)

Never tried it myself - I use the Clinique one which I like.

TE is cheaper on the internet £16.50 delivered - here https://www.feelunique.com/p/YSL-Touche-Eclat.html

Give the Aldi version a go @ £3.40. Silver pen, same style & weight as YSL, good coverage, not drying.

Personally I find it a bit 'white' - prefer the Boots No.7 one

Until last Sunday I would have agreed with this (Heidihole) wholeheartedly. However, I brought the Aldi one thinking that it wasn't too much of a waste (unlike the mid price ones) if it was a bit crap. I am shocked to say that it is really good. It comes in the same two shades as TE - the pinky one and the peachier one. I think I'll be buying this from now on.

NB: I have previously tried Clarins, Dior, No7, and Clinique. Also I'm very fair (ginger).
