You could make you 'save the date' cards look like passports in some way, , ,

    Hi Lolly

You could have a seating plan based on a map which would tie in nicely with the luggage place tags and table names. Perhaps you could use an antique map or even vintage postcards for the table names. I've seen a lot of stationery companies sell passport copied invitations or even based on boarding cards. I recently designed a bespoke set for a couple who were both pilots and wanted a vintage travel theme so I came up with these travel journal style booklet invitations, complete with luggage tag RSVP. You could adapt an antique suitcase to become a card post box.

Someone posted on here a while ago a picture of their postbox - it was a cool old fashioned suitcase.

Ooh I love this theme! those mini suitcases are so cute Sherrie!! You could get lots of postcards from around the world (you can probably get bundles on Ebay) and use them instead of a guestbook. I really like the globe centrepiece idea too

We had a very small travel theme based around our honeymoon...

We had photos and luggage tags on our table plan, oversized postcards with personalised postmarks on our table names and passports for our menus!

I think there are so many things that you could do with this idea... boarding passes, luggage tags, large scale maps...

    Travel/Adventure Theme:-

Reward Coupons: Tourist Tokens, Travel Tokens, Use the names of money from other countries like lira, and peso

Ceiling decorations: Make suitcases from brown/black construction paper with character words hanging on them.

Jobs: Put up a blue background with little green islands. Each island represents one job. Write student names on planes, ships, hot air balloons, spaceships, etc. for them to rotate to different jobs.

Bulletin Boards: Use old maps for backgrounds

Also, I was digging through my old files from last year and I had written an adventure theme for someone here it is... it's sort of travel-ish...
