Tried MY dress on today

Been to try my dress on today. It was lovely to see it in the right length (shop sample was too short), has had 5 inches added to length at factory (btw i'm 6ft1)

What do you think? And what do you think of veil ....... I didn't like any of the previous ones i've tried, but now i've seen that one ....... (please excuse stupid bun hair do)

    Its absolutely gorgeous that goes for the veil too!

    The only thing i would say is that if you didnt have an underskirt on you may want to consider one or if you did it may be worth having one with a slightly bigger hoop?

    But once again you look fab its a truely stunning dress!!! x

    Ah thanks everyone

    I'd slightly forgot how big the skirt was - not big meringue style but tons of material. Love it tho.

    I did have a hoop/underskirt on but i think you are right Lorna, i think it needs bit more hoop

    It's really pretty I love it. It does really flatter you as well. Personally I like it the shape it is, but I'm not having a hoop at all, so that might be why!

    I wish, ladies! I am 5'1" and have trouble finding petite dresses! I am losing lots of weight to get back to my size 10 figure from 2007 but still, i am not exactly a skinny build and my problem is that all dress designers seem to think that all petite women are also size 6 or 8 or are built very narrow in shoulders... LOL I may be 5ft1 but i am a 36DD bust and i am quite wide-shouldered! (Yes i know i make myself sound like an ickle monster hehehehe)

    Looks great, and with your height what a stunning bride you'll be! I love the contrast between the heavy boning in the bodice and the dreamy material of the skirt.
