Tried & tested sangria recipe??

? I'm having a Spanish themed get together for my hubby to celebrate his 30th birthday in a few weeks. I'm planning on making a big bowl of sangria and although there are plenty of recipes online, I wondered if anyone had a tried and tested???? I suppose I could have some fun trying and testing if nobody has ?

    I have an excellent recipe. I've made it a few times and everyone loves it.

    1/2 gallon of inexpensive red wine (I use a chianti)
    2 oz. (2 shots) of Triple Sec
    2 oz (2 shots) of Brandy
    1 cup of lemon juice
    1 cup of sugar
    3 cups of seltzer
    cinnamon sticks, strawberries, sliced oranges, and peaches

    Directions: Mix everything together (except seltzer which you added just before serving). It's best served the day after you've made it so that the fruit flavors have time to add to the overall flavour.

    Crash Idon't have a recipe I came here to take one!! I lurve Sangria and have jsut had to avoid alcohol for 9 months due to being pregnant so can't wait to try these out!
