Tropic Thunder (spoiler-ish)

I was really disappointed by it, I didn't laugh at all.

Only realised it was Tom Cruise towards the end <dim>

The video shop guy said that people either love it or hate it. Haven't laughed so much since watching Black Sheep - the killer sheep movie.

WLS I thought it was rubbish.

I was dragged under protest by H to see it on his birthday (I'd wanted to watch Mama Mia!) and was surprised to find that I bloody loved it! Definitely a marmite film, but I'd happily watch it again. Thought they had some great camios, (esp Tom Cruise, who I usually avoid like the plague, but didn't realise he was in it til I worked out it was him under all that make up!) and laughed my way through it.

Yeh Pipster! Thought I was going to be on my own here...

I liked it too. Went to see it at the cinema when it first came out with the OH. He was laughing like a drain the whole way through.

Robert Downey Jr is my new favourite actor after this and ironman.

Loved Downey Jr in this, just his character was hilarious!

Also, I read somewhere that Cruise is considering doing a video on youtube of him dressed up as the d*ckhead director and just doing some dances..

Maybe that can take off as well as the Dancing Baby did?? ? to be fair the other week when I was out clubbing (first time in about 6 months mind!) I heard the song he dances to in the film twice in the same night, the same club! So a lot of public demand...

I liked the trailers at the start the best. Especially the one with the monks. I must confess though, I love TC anyway, especially after Magnolia. I think he's a proper old fashioned movie star, although even I don't knoww if I can quite build myself up for Valkyrie.

Loved this film, i too was dragged there by H to see it but i thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't listen to the T-Pain song without thinking of Tom Cruise dancing.
