Trying on first dresses

Hi all hitchers!

I'm going for a first look at wedding dresses on Friday. It's a bit early (we haven't finalised venue yet) but found a local shop who has a sample sale of Enzoani and Justin Alexander dresses at a wedding fair yesterday!

Has anybody been to Fancy Frox in Spalding, LINCS? Also do you have any tips for first trying on?

My dad wanted to come along as well but I've banned him from coming! I want it to be a surprise for him as well!

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hi, I dont know the store but my top tip would be to go with an open mind and try on as many dresses as you can in the time you have. I found some dresses I didnt think "would be me" that looked surprisingly good. But what surprised me most was the subtle changes between very similar dresses that made one work and another not. This really helped me find "The One" in only the second shop I went to. Oh and another tip while I think of it, take just one person who you know will give you an honest opinion. Ultimately though - have fun and enjoy :-)

Try one in every fabric, try straps and no straps!

Try different colours too. I was amazed how different just a slight change in shade made your skin colour change from glowing to yellow!

My advice would be wear a nude strapless bra and pants!
