tulle skirted ballgowns....

almostmrsStimpson , 31 July, 2014 at 12:04 Posted on Planning 0 3

My dress has a big tulle skirt, (I don't know how to flash but its Pandora by Ronald Joyce) I'm struggling to even think of accessories to go with it.

What kind of veil and jewellery would you ladies put with it? Its a church ceremony Btw? Also if I put a hoop underneath will the hoop show through the tulle?

    Hi,

i have Lola by ronald joyce, which is a massive tulle skirt with lots of sparkle

I have a 2 hoop underskirt to help keep it off my legs and i also have a catherdral length veil. I bought a matchiing tiara aswell.

I will probably wear a simple diamond necklace and diamond earrings

I have a Mori Lee ballgown princess dress and have a tulle bubble veil, tiara and diamond earrings to go with it. Your hoop skirt definitely won't show through your dress!

My dress is a ballgown with a tulle skirt - I tried it on with a one-hoop petticoat and you definitely couldn't see through it! I opted to go with a fingertip veil because the dress has a lace train at the bottom and a cathedral veil didn't look right. If yours doesn't have a train, I would go with a cathedral veil - it'll look stunning in the church. As for accessories I am thinking a comb for the veil, and I'm going for a simple string of pearls and pearl stud earrings, no bracelet as my dress has 3/4 length sleeves.
