Umbrella dilema....

May2be, 6 January, 2011 at 21:46 Posted on Planning 0 7

OK so we booked a July wedding hoping that the weather is going to be good and that it isn't going to 'rain on my parade' but we all know that just cos it is summer it doesn't guarantee anything in ths country. So, the dilema is......do we 'be prepared' and buy a nice looking ivory wedding style umbrella so I don't look like a drowned rat during the ceremony and can still have a few pics outside etc or is this gonna be seen as tempting fate??? To buy or not to buy.....please vote now!

I have found a nice ivory heart shaped one on ebay that also provides UV protection so would be useful if it's a scorcher too!

Worst weather I ever had on a wedding in 25 years was in an August....

Pure Treats does some white umbrellas and will also personalise them. James Smith in New Oxford Street has some upmarket options available online.

That all said, many togs (cough) and car companies do also have umbrellas on standby....

Buy. I'm July as well, and I'll definitely be getting a few.

I have 4 Edwardian style ivory parasols. The chaps will have umbrellas too. Definitely worth having them!
