Underwear

MrsR2013, 5 July, 2011 at 07:41 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hey Guys, I bought my dress on Saturday , very lucky that it would be here in time, as we brought our wedding forward by two years!! But now i dont know what underwear to wear, its a strapless sweetheart neckline so it will need to be strapless, but i cant make up my mind --- strapless bra or a basque?!?!?

Whats your opinons girlies?!?!

xx

I have boning in my dress and although one woman in the shop said wear a bra because it gives better curves when it came to trying it on I actually didn't need one as the dress held me in place perfectly (and the bra had a bit of padding and made the dress feel too tight). I've got one from Bravissimo just in case (I'm a 30E not that you'd know it to look at me!)

I have the same kind of neckline with a corset back, and i've tried my dress on with and without a bra. And have gone with a very simple, comfortable, seamless, heavily padded straless bra.

I always thought i'd go with the no bra option, as I am not a huge cup size and so knew the dress would support me, but I just seem to "fill" the chest of dress better when wearing the above.

    I've had this one:

I've been told that they can sew extra support cup things into my dress to save me having to wear a bra. They're pretty much like the chicken fillet type supports you get, but in fabric and will be secure as will be completely stitched in.
