You can have things printed on seed paper that can then be planted and grow??

Oh, that's a cool idea, I love that. I might be a bit worried that everyone will forget where they are going on the day though, and their invitations will be plants by that time :-) I will look into it though, as that is definitely different, thank you.

Depending how tech-savvy your guests are, you could have online invitations? We're thinking about email invites and having an RSVP button on our 'wedsite'. Eco friendly, saves a fortune on postage AND means we don't end up with 100 little pieces of card lying around the house!

Thank you to you all for your very helpful responses. Out of the suggestions, I liked the wedding tea towels best, and I've spoke to the lady there, who was so helpful and We've decided to get them for our wedding!. So thank you very much for the suggestion. They are so cool, I didn't know there was something as quirky as this available, it is exactly the type of thing I wanted. They are going to do a bespoke design for us for £150, which I thought was a bit of a bargain, as it is so personal to us, and I like that our guests get to keep the tea towels as a little momento. I can't wait. Thank you so much guys.
