Unwanted wedding bracelet gift- advice needed!

I'd probably buy the one you want and then rush into your mum and say 'look i saw this and just knew it was perfect and went better with my earrings'. Be really excited and then hopefully she won't burst your bubble!

If i was in your situation i'd buy the bracelet and just my little girl choose it whilst shopping for a gift for me and she wants me to wear it but then say you will wear the one she bought you for the evening reception

Could your H2B 'buy' you it as a wedding gift and then you have reason to wear it over your mums?

My mother would let me know how 'offended' she would be if I bought something else! My little girl is only 6months old- not sure I can get away with that one! Although I could get my OH to buy something that is off her for the wedding...

I would just say that you have lost it! Make sure you buy the replacement really quickly though (to make sure that she doesn't buy you another one!)

I'd either 'lose' it or wear it as an ankle bracelet and say the one you've seen goes better, could even say your mum has found your gran's bracelet. I wouldn't wear anything I didn't want to wear on a normal day so certainly wouldn't wear it on my wedding day. Just find some ways of wording it to here. I'd say I'd lost it as I'm hopeless! x

Does she know you hadn't already got one? if she didn't you could buy one, then hers could break on morning of wedding meaning no time to buy replacement so you have to wear the one you bought......?
