Up early...

Mrs Winkle, 26 July, 2008 at 07:36 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 27

...to the delightful sight of some sick chunks in the plughole of the bathroom sink. Mr was out last night "not getting too drunk" by all accounts as we have a wedding party to go to later. I *might* have shouted at him. He's gone back to sleep. Grrrrr.

...because my body clock has decided that 'cause I have to get up at 7.15 for work every weekday, I should get up at 7.15 at weekends too - and won't take 'I want a lie in' as an excuse. I shouldn't be bouncy at 7.15am!

    Eughhhh?

I'd go and wake him up right now and get him to clean up ?

Hope you have a nice time at the wedding later.

Up early because the dogs decided to get me up at 6.30am, and Paige my 7 month old is still fast asleep.

Who knows? He got up and cleared it up. I nagged him again. I want to tell him about my step mum but he's made me annoyed and now I can't.

... not been to bed yet as I've just got in from work. Let's hope there aren't too many lawnmowers on the go this morning and I can get some kip. ?

What a nightmare. I hope he feels bad later when you do tell him, and he realises he was out of order

Oh no, I don't want him to have a guilt trip. We all drink too much sometimes. I'm just annoyed that I'm irritated by him and don't really want to talk to him.

Are you irritaed because he woke you up? Sounds like he'll be suffering from a hangover for the wedding later

Maybe he'll offer to drive tonight and then you can drink ?

Sorry to hear about your step mum, we went through this with my MIL last year

No, I'm irritated because he said he wouldn't drink too much, and because he left chunks of sick in the sink. And we already have a driver tonight... ?

Ew, bad Mr W! Glad he cleared it up. I hope he had a good enough evening to warrant the chunks!

I was up at 5.36am because a) we don't have curtains or blinds and it was vaaaay light at that time, b) my right nostril is bunged which makes it hard to breathe when lying down unless I concentrate, which I kept forgetting to do and therefore thought I might stop and c) all 3 of my stoopid mutts decided to come and gently persuade me out of my pit by shoving their whiskery muzzles in my eyes. Oh, woe is me. <sigh> ?

Bad Mr W. Play music in his ears. Although, he was pretty cool this time last week - cooking a monumental fry up when we were a little delicate.

I've been up since 7.45. Not sure why - it is light in my room but I had an eye mask on. Tired now.

    I'm awake because I don't have curtains!

Had a lovely, lovely night with an old school friend, it was so fab. We drank way too much, I am suffering but I think the fix is to get a bus to Liverpool Street, eat a fry up and then get my hair done. I am Monica in humidity today, not good - I want someone to be a curl genius for me.

Sailor Boy is DEFINITELY coming tonight - yay! You get to meet him, although he has to go home early tomorrow morning so we won't be there for the dying embers (yes I am well aware that I always say this and then look what happens!)

Oh dear, naughty Mr W - hopefully he will be sufficiently recovered for later... I will see what the shops hold that I could make as restorative liquid!

I cannot wait for later, I am ridiculously excited despite feeling like a fat, ugly warthog - hate those days, didn't really want one now, grrrr. Chookie pllllleeaaasssseee say we'll see you later my lovely? [squuuueeeezzzzeeeees for all]

    Hurrah for meeting SB!

We'll drive to your house first SLD I think - can you do a recce re: parking spaces today? Otherwise, it might be best to drive straight there as I don't want to get towed away! What time did you want us all there? ?

Things have kicked off a bit here and I've been very brave (you'll be so proud of me)!

There's two parking bays a stone's throw away and they're empty now but I will see if I can find out anything else too! Erm, I don't mind, what's good for you - if it starts at 8, should we say 6.30? Time for a drink, chinwag and it won't take us long to get there after that.

Chookie, really want to see you and fantastic news, sounds like we need to hear all about it - well done, you're a star. ?

PS. Can you find out who the person is that's calling my SHRILLLLLL landline at 9.30 on a Saturday morning? ARGH!

Well - Spinny isn;t getting here until 6.15pm SLD, so we won't be there for 6.30 by any stretch! Probably more like 7.15 - time for one drink then go?

Cool, sounds good. Have I missed something re. Stepmum Winkle, are you ok? ?

I've just checked my call log, erm I called SB at 1am (told him I would call him on the way home... but said I would be leaving at 11pm... oops) hopefully he is still coming though. ?

    Durrr. Silly SLD.

Found out last night that my lovely step mum has breast cancer. It's knocked me a bit. It's very early stages so the doctors are hopeful.

Yeah that's cool - less chance of me still being in a towel then! ?

That'd be perfect as for some reason I said I would cook for SB beforehand... do you think Coco Pops would count as cooking? ?

Oh mate I'm so sorry. Early stages definitely make for the best long-term diagnosis, but I'm not surprised it's knocked you, I'm so sorry, poor stepmum. ??
