Thought I would get away from revision for a little bit by updating what my mum and I have done so far with a bit of a flash and a bit of a moan lol.
First what I have done:
Our venue is all done and dusted with a meeting with them soon on food but we are having a hot buffet so people can choose everything.
Dress is ordered and should arrive any day now
Our decorators are booked and sorted with an appointment next week to pick out centrepiece extras and ceiling centrepiece. Like these but colours to match the theme fire and ice with the red like my dress above and an ice blue.

Flower apointment next week to check exactly what red lilies I can have where and to choose boquet designs. I would something like these.
Choir booked and they came back with an AMAZING price for the choir and the piano so I can walk down the aisle to "happy together"!!! We are only having 16 of them to fit them in lol. We are alos having a charity collection for them as they usually work just for charity.
Our favours are decided that we will be having a sweet buffet on each table around the centrepieces in glass or silver bowls borrowed from the decorators and filled with sweets in our colour scheme with silver scoops and a paper bag on each plate so they can help themselves.
We have our cake maker sorted and I want something like this with the red lilies I choose and in lemon, orange and white chocolate sponge yummy.
I gave my notice of marriage in yesterday and they would not let me book an appointment so far in advance although my registrars that will take the ceremony wanted the notice early to confirm my booking. They in the end said ok but they insisted I put my wedding date as 21st May 2011 on the appointment then change it when I got there. The registrar told me she couldn't be bothered to change it at the appointment as the computer was being slow and it wouldn't matter as it is valid for a year. I then got a call from lewes registry saying my date was wrong did I want to change it with them and I had to explain all the rubbish with them grr but at least it is sorted.
One thing I am struggling with atm is the DJ for the evening and I was wondering if anyone knew anyone is Sussex that is reasonable?
