URGES!!!!

pandorasbox, 12 February, 2011 at 10:22 Posted on Planning 0 1

Arrrgh I want to try on dresses sooooo badly!

I know there is no point as I put on loads of weight since Dec when I first starting getting colds etc so had to ease up on the gym a bit. Then all of Jan I had flu so did NO exercise. So I am flabby-dabby-doo-dah right now.

I made my mum promise to remind me I said I would wait until mid June when a) it is a bit nearer to the wedding and b) when I have had a good few months back in training and completed my first Race for Life of the Year.

I know there is no point trying dresses now as I will feel disappointed in my body and I know it looked not so long ago. I really want to be logical and wait til I have dropped my extra pounds.... but oh god THEY ARE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL AND I WANT ONE NOW!!!! lol Smiley smile

Dont be silly, go and try some!! I felt a bit like you before i tried any, not confident in my body and thought they would look awful. But actually becuase they are so structured and they pull you in in all the right places, you look about 2 sizes smaler in them anyway!! Plus just beacasue you try a dress on now, doesn't mean you have to order it in a size now, just get an idea of what you like. Don't be hard on yourself, just go and try some and enjoy it, it's fun!

Absolutely agree with excitedbee - pick a day when you're feeling good and then go and have some fun!
