Urgh! I feel sooooo rough - Friday hangover kleek

KB3, 28 November, 2008 at 09:00 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 15

So, my afternoon of boozing ended with me being put into a taxi at 10pm, completely sozzled and boy am I suffering this morning.

I hate wine. ?

I've had a bottle of lucazade, a can of coke, a sausage & egg bap, half a 1.5l bottle of Evian, 2 paracetamol and I still have the shakes.

I've got half a days holiday left to use by the end of the year and I'm thinking today might be a good day to use it. I need my bed.

Oh dear, you sound minging ?

I'm slightly hungover, was mildly drunk last night and am feeling a bit weary this morning. I've also got the raging hunger and have just demolished a massive sausage and bacon baguette and am already willing lunch to hurry up so I can eat again.

I woke up still burping bourbon (not the biscuits), but otherwise not too bad.

Thankfully, no. I don't think I could have gone out last night if you'd paid me. I'm slightly concerned that I still have a lingering headache still from Wednesday. This getting older lark is not fun.

Have you got anything on tonight? If you haven't I wouldn't waste the holiday - you're likely to need that in December. ?

    Hope you feel better soon.

I agree with BGB ? but is the little man there holding tongs?

I'd try to stick the day out even if you don't actually do anything much. Better to waste a day at work than a day off!

Ooh yes. Never drink a bottle of champagne on a school night. Urgh.

I know what you are saying but I can't sit here all day. No way, I'm having hot sweats and I've got the worlds worst case of the shakes. Boy am I suffering. Usually I ride these things out but this one is painful.

I've just been to the loo and notice my hair is scrapped back into a ponytail full of bumps and I've broken a fingernail. How did I not notice before?

Train AND tube! I think I could deal with it knowing I'll be in bed in a short while. Mind you I'll have to stop off at the nail shop which is a royal pain in the backside. We've got a family photoshoot tomorrow morning at 10am so needs to be done today.

Sparks - where is your party?

Meeeeeeee! ? I've not really been drinking very much at all recently, but last night I went for some drinks with my sis and bleurrrrrrrgh, do I feel rough today. I've had a roll with square sausage and potato scone, two mugs of builder's tea, a bottle of lucozade and a packet of S&V mccoys. I could still eat a sweaty horse. I think I need a cheese savoury toastie and some of my favourite apple and rhubarb juice. ?

It's in a local tex mex restaurant (classy) that turns into a disco at 11pm (double classy)!

But it's free and there are 40 of us going, and we are all dressing up so it will be fun. We all have to wear a hat though, I thought it was a rubbish idea until a friend lent me a faaaaaabulous facinator - I will look like a wedding guest, but I don't care!! ?

Hope your hangover does down soon. I always swear by a hair of the dog!! ?
