This is the only one i'd be unsure about, as I have never ate ducks eggs.

Whilst not a vege I only eat chicken & fish so eat a lot of vege food.

As a veggie I like the sound of all of that. As someone with a mushroom allergy I'd have a problem eating some of it though!

MOSTLY YES, only queries for me would be based on personal taste (aubergine not my fave, wild mushrooms can be a little wierd if they are big pieces - I'd still eat both though), nothing to do with how the dishes have been put together. Sounds fab.

I've never thought of artichoke or duck egg as an acquired taste before! Thank you, ladies.

FTLOMB, what would your queries be? I'm quite content with the meaty version of this but as I rarely go all out veggie for a dinner, I'd value your opinion.

Me either. I think most people would eat them.

I edited my post to include the queries, as I realised it sounded too vague without the detail. Like I said, it's only down to my personal taste.

I wouldn't go for the duck's egg (simply don't like eggs) but would have a good go at almost everything else. I think it is a really good, interesting veggie menu and I'd only avoid things that are personal taste no-nos, so that can't really be catered for!! (I'd prefer ordinary cream not cardamom stuff!!)

Sounds lovely... parmesan is not veggie (you can get parmesan style hard cheese from some shops that is) as it contains animal rennet. I find mushroomy stuff is usually bland, I love artichoke though!!!!

Aubergine's don't agree with me and I don't really like artichoke, but other than that it looks nice.

Don't envy you preparing and cooking it all!

Lovely, thank you. Hopefully our veggie chums will like it. The meaty one is far easier for me to decide I'm happy with! ?

What the difference between a duck egg and a chicken egg?

I obviously know they come from different animals and I *think* a duck egg is bigger but do they taste different? #yesIamthick

It all sounds very impressive and yummy. The only dish i personally wouldn't like would be the mushroom tagliatelle but that is because i can't stand mushrooms. My mum (also a veggie) on the other hand would love that. As a strict veggie i would say though to make sure the cheeses are suitable for veggies, but again that is just a personal thing.

This has made me very hungry.

Thanks, all. I'm assuming it'll be veggie compatible cheese but I'll check when we pop in this weekend.

Duck eggs are lovely! kind of a creamier taste, but they also have a slightly different texture- I want to say rubberier but I like them so that seems wrong. I can undertand if people who like hen's eggs didnt like ducks eggs though and would prob be based on the texture.

From a carnivore's perspective, who eats anything but usually sneers (sorry eveyone) at veggie options I think the menu sounds really appealing!!
