Veil help

goldpants, 16 April, 2013 at 11:20 Posted on Planning 0 2

So as you have probably heard I have found my dress! Smiley smile (i'll shut up about it soon i promise!)

With it I have bought a grogeous pearl embellished belt and I want the look to be simple.

I have tried on a few veils with my dress and think I know what I want, but was thinking I might be able to find something a bit cheaper than the wedding shops where it's all designer... when it comes to the veil (which i never even though I'd want!) I'll wear it for ceremony and pics then take it off, i am not fussed about it being designer!!

The type of veil I like is (still not sure on the terminology so feel free to correct me!) a single tier elbow length veil with no crystals, pearls, sparkle or adornments.... just a thin line around the edge at the bottom. Nothing 'net curtainy' just soft and flowy so it covers my arms and shoulders.

Here's a pic of my dress and me in a veil (typically not the one i liked ooops) it is fine but just far too long.

Please help me find something online/ on the high street, don't really want to spend over £50! Smiley smile

thank you xxxxx

Oooh, lots of people talking veils at the moment.

Debenhams have some in the larger stores for about £25, a friend of mine bought hers on ebay for £12, and I found this website which seemed reasonable: http://www.asyoulikeitweddingveils.com

I got mine from weddingveilsdirect after I saw how lovely Kharv's was. mine was two tier with scattered crystals and was only £30 so should deff suit your budget. I ordered it March 16th and it arrived April 9th which was pretty good too, maybe have a little peek? you get to "design your own" which is nice
