Me getting married in Dec. Searching for venues. Y don't u contact them

Have emailed them and heard nothing

I'm getting married in September and I have found that if you want anything done then you need to contact them otherwise they forget about you! Give them a ring, that what their for! ?

Dont want to call them and its to early not sure what everyone else is doing at this time if getting married in september

I'm always ringing or emailing my venue and i don't get married until Feb, lol.

I'm sure they won't mind, like Vicki said that's what their there for.

We're getting married end of July. My venue hasn't contacted me, but I've been in touch with them as and when I needed to. Unless there's something you need to have decided upon by this date, or you need specific info, I wouldn't worry about them not getting in touch.

I am always calling mine and im not getting married until November.

Mine was left that I would get in touch with my venue I think. Im october but I'm going to comtact them soon and see when they need to know the menu choices and all that kind of thing. I need to run over with her the timings of the day and the place settings and all but that womt be til a lot nearer the time!

I work for a place that organises weddings, believe me they wont contact you until you contact them, constant e-mails from brides about sometimes the most trivial things (ok not to the bride) but when your trying to organise a weedding that is the following week the last thing you need is details for a wedding for months away, and the details changing constantly. Best bit of advise is just wait until you have a long list of things to ask and make an appointment and not send lots of small e-mails as its likely they wont get back to them

I've already had 3 meeting with my venue (their request not mine plus i've had to pay the venue off in installments which has coincided with them wanting to meet me at certain stages) They were a load of questions i asked at my last meeting last week: size of the tables, cost of drinks, menu choices, timing for ceremony, wedding breakfast, DJ, buffet. my next meeting with them is 1 month before the big day

I've been emailing my venue on and off for awhile. They've been very good at answering questions for me. I met up with them a few weeks ago for them to run through how the day will go and they still were very patient as I ran through loads more questions! If you've got something important to ask then email them, we are paying enough for the places!!!

I'm a September bride too. And we go to our venue at least once a month and just check it out ( but it is the local village hall). I would contact them as I've found it's only the way to get things done is do it yourself x
