Venue hunting

Please help!I'm struggling to find a wedding package to suit our budget!Our budget is about £2000 for the venue and food for about 70 people (about 50 day guests and about 20 extra for the evening).Most large hotels offering a package are out of our budget so I've been looking for smaller venues in the Northwest (preferably Merseyside).Any suggestions for perhaps a smaller venue with a cheaper package or even having two venues?We're not bothered about a traditional wedding breakfast but we don't want people to go hungry.Any suggestions or tips would be gratefully appreciated!Thanks!
