very O/T but help needed please

I'm currently doing a research proposal for uni and have to do a small (1000 words) literature review, which I'm struggling hopelessly with. I'm trying not to be descriptive but it's not working out that way..anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me, roughly how many articles, and sources should I be using for the lit review? does it differ from a 'normal' assignment at all? I try to use as many as is humanly possible in an assignment and wondered if it's the same or different for the lit review?

any help tips and advice with any aspect of this blasted thing would be hugely apprecitated

thanks..xx

Hi i did my research proposal last year and oh my god it drove me loopy. i did a lit review of three key texts i had 750 words to work with. i used two journel articles and one book. in regards to writing the review i just summerised what it was all about and chucked in a few qoutes. What subject are you doing? xx

Thanks for that..i'm really struggling with this one, and I thought it'd be the one assignment i'd enjoy the most...i just can't do any of it, and am stressing so much about it, but i do this every time...lol..i'm doing the social work degree...what are you doing? how are you finding studying whilst planning for your wedding? it's pretty hectic i feel, especially with a raft of sproggs and a full time job as well...haha

Ive nearly finished my degree in childcare only got 30 credits left so il be finished christmas and i cant bloody wait. its rather stressful trying to fit in assignments around planning and work and make time for oh.

Every time i get assignments i feel like im gonna crack up but allways get through it all ok but i do it every time. i did my research proposal on outdoor play, if you search your chosen subject and see whos been cited most on google scholar, i know my tutor wanted reviews of ppl who are top in their subject area xx

Going back 8 years to when I did mine - I also chose a dissertation subject that had hardly any literature on it. So with three weeks and 12,000 words to go, I completely changed the subject. Ended up being pretty good if I do say so myself because I decided to write it on something that really interested me.
