ok calm down, Have you shaved recently?

There are a million things it could be and cancer is one of the least unlikely

Ask here for more advise, everyone is over there now

I get this sometimes it's just a blocked sebaceous gland (can't remember specifically but it's been checked out and it's nothing serious) or something and it comes and goes.

Definitely go and get it checked out though ?

It could be a prolapse. I've just been diagnosed with a prolapse after having my first baby 11 weeks ago so they are on my mind at the moment. You should def go and see the Dr, nothing to be embarassed about.

Hi I agree with the other definately go to see your GP and don't be embarrased my dr friend once told me that down below/gynae queries make up 40% of a GP's time! I'm not a medical professional but I really don't think it's cancer - this would not suddenly appear almost overnight! It is prob something really common x

Could be an ingrown hair or a Bartholin's cyst - nothing too serious. Definitely go to your GP for peace of mind, but very unlikely it's cancer, as JK2B says, cancers tend to be much more insidious in their presentation.

It really doesn't sound like a prolapse just to re-assure you.

I also think its just a cyst.

    p.s I am a gynae nurse.

Sounds like bartholin gland cysts. pesky little things that they are.

I'm pretty sure the OP posted an update on the other place to say it was indeed a prolapse.
