Before I knew it my sisters and best friends were all in my living room with Wine, Champagne, a Chinese takeaway, the Olympic Opening Ceremony and lots of excitement.
It go to about 11PM and we were all starting to flag so decided to call it a night…none of us could sleep though we were too excited. I had the pleasure of my sister in the room with me who cannot keep quiet so sleep was not looking likely.
After eventually getting to sleep I started waking up every few hours thinking I’m getting married today!
Saturday 28th July – The Big Day!!
We woke up at around 7, rushed to the window and there was SUNSHINE!!!! Then we all dashed to the bathroom ready for the arrival of the tog at 9:15 and the Hairdresser at 9:15
Breakfast was not even close to being on the agenda! My Nan had called to say her friend had got us a present which needed to be at the venue…nice one Nan! It was another signing frame so my sisters got the frame and took it to the venue, we decided to have a frame for all guests and then use this smaller frame for close family.
Before I knew it 9AM was here and the doorbell seemed to be nonstop!
My sister in law arrived with our niece closely followed by the hairdresser and tog…we had a houseful, it was all go!
Tog was wonderful, didn’t even notice that she was there and she just cracked on with what she does best!
