I am not having a viel but in the wedding shop where I got my dress from they were around £100. But if you look on ebay there are loads on there that I have seen from about £10-£15 onwards, hope this helps

Yeah its always good to try on first but alot of sellers on ebay accept returns if your not 100% happy with it, hopefully you find one cheaper than £200!

I'm having a cathedral length veil with a blush (the bit that goes over your face). It has some small sparkles on it which you can't see other than when it catches the light. I've been quoted £150 for it.

I got my sparkly one from ebay for £20 and it looks great in my opinion, but then I can never tell the difference between them all!

I'm having a birdcage veil made for me by a local designer and it's costing about £90. After the breakfast I can take the veil part off and just use the ribbon on it as a clip to put at the back of my hair so it's dual purpose!

Mine was meant to cost £250 gulp but I got it free with my dress by doing a bit of bargaining. I wanted a super long one (think it is called Cathedral length like Cricket's) but no way would I have paid that much, I would have ordered off the net - shops hike up their prices massively on veils.

    Good luck - get ebay-ing!

I got mine from theweddingveilshop.co.uk You can basically design your own, length, amount of sparkles, colour etc. Mine cost around £55 last year, think it was fingertip length in ivory with scattered crystals. Think a similar one in my dress shop was about 3 times the price. I'm sure another couple of hitchers used them around the same time as me.

I bought mine from a bridal shop that was selling it on ebay. It was going to be a sample one for them, but their stockist stopped stocking it so I got it brand new. I paid £7. It's plain with a ribbon edge, 2 tier and elbow length I think. I need to have a look at it again!

I got mine from a non-bridal shop which stocks veils. They don't have the same bridal shop mark up so I got mine for £18. I was 2 layer with sparkles on, about waist length (think it was 24")

I think I got a bargain with mine it's floor length with sparkly bits around the edges and has the bit you can put over your face. It was originally £180 but had a small hitch in which has been repaired so I got it for £100.

I had got one with my dress (Closing down sale was about £20 i think!) but when i got it out about a week later we noticed a small tear on it. By that point the shop had closed so I couldnt take it back!

Anyway I got on ebay and got one from there! It was £20 and an extra £5 for extra diamantes - and when it arrived they hadn't added the extra sparkles, so I emailed them back asking why and If i could have a refund! They said they would send out the one i requested asap and as compensation I could keep the other one! SO now I have 3 veils! lol. It seems a good enough "shop" on ebay - impressionbridal I think it was called!

Mine is finger tip length 2 layer - e.g. so you can plonk it over your head, and it was about £50 - I got it from the weddingveilshop as did Stazzle.

Mine was £45 including P&P from Ebay, it's a Joyce Jackson veil, 72" with teardrop crystals at the edges. It'd been worn once but is in perfect condition. It's so beautiful and sells for £85-£100 in bridal shops. Well chuffed Smiley smile
