vintage lass, 15 February, 2010 at 22:49 Posted on Planning 0 20

Hey everyone....totally fell in love with the Jenny Packham (Acacia) headpiece that Cheryl Cole wore on the xfactor! Only problem is that its completely out of my price range...being a staggering £360.00!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know were I can get a replica or similar design???? xx

    This one
which is 4 inches long and hinged centrally to lie better on the head 2 of these might do it and would be £19.99 each. Not a regular line so not onthe website. Here's it on a dummy head too.

On the Glitzy secrets site this would be your closest bet https://www.glitzysecrets.com/bow-of-beauty-side-tiara.html

    Hi,

I have a vintage style side headband on my site, you can see it HERE. I would be happy to design something for you within your budget. If you'd like to discuss, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

3D - I love this - would you team it with anything if you wore with a swept bun? xx

How do you mean? at the side of the head or actually on the bun but. If at the side I may say some pins in the bun.

    Hello

Everything I make is hand-made to order so I can design somethign for you. I'm not sure if I'm being silly but I can't see the exact item you have fallen in love with! Feel free to email me the picture & I'll be able to tell you if I could do something for you. Below is a picture of a tiara/alice band that I designed & made for a bride who wanted a vintage theme.

    I hope this helps

Another vote for Flo & Percey - their stuff is amazing. Also, worth having a look at Victoria Fergusson as her work is really beautiful too, www.victoriafergusson.co.uk .

Another recommendation for Flo and Percy. Kirsty is so nice and helpful so worth while asking for her advice. They are fully booked for 2010 which just shows how fab they are.

I'm a hib and make tiaras but nothing like the style you have fallen in love with.

Glad to be of service!! She's really lovely too, based in Salisbury and has her products stocked in a few boutiques, which is how I found out about her.

OMG, so many beautiful things to chose from. I've really got no idea.

Do you think a band that's detailed on one side (like many of the F&P ones) would work with a veil too?

Hiya, I got mine from Debbie Graham http://www.debbiegrahamjewellery.com/ and found her fab! Mine is a side tiara, v sparkly and lovely, hand made and only cost £65!! She makes things to order too, bespoke. Found her really helpful and so happy with it! i haven't taken a picture yet so can't flash, but I was really pleased with it and can't believe bridal shops charge £200+ for ones that aren't half as nice!
