Cream&Blush, 16 August, 2016 at 22:09 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi all

Been reading a while but my first ever post!

im getting married in April 2018 and have been looking at invites. We are on a budget so want the quality but also keeping costs low

i have seen some save the date and invites on vista print I like (blue with the Eiffel Tower - we got engaged in Paris!) but cannot seem to find an information/details card where can put directions, hotel details etc has anyone used vista print and what did yo use for this?

also any reviews of vista print? Is the quality good?

Thanks x

    Hi,

We used Vistaprint for our invite 'suites' which included invite to the ceremony, the receptions and rsvp cards. Also got address labels etc so everything matched in the hessian and lace theme. Paid a bit extra for the linen card. Everything for 40 people with the suite and an additional 50 evening invites came to less than £100. Really easy to design and order and happy with the quality when they arrived. The only issue we had was for the suites each element was a slightly different shade of brown! My h2b couldnt tell the difference but I noticed! I emailed vistaprint to see if they could do anything and within an hour they had refunded the full amount back to my bank without asking! We bought some kraft envelopes seperately and added some pearl details so by the time they were all layered together they looked great! Felt a bit bad using them after they had refunded us but the money was a bonus!

My tip would be to request the free sample pack so you get an idea of the card weights and finishes!

    Anna x

    Hi

I had the same problem with Vista Print. I order 10 their minimum order didn't realise they did samples at the time and my invitation and rsvp were two different colours.

Did you include an information sheet or money poem? I would like to but i'm not sure how i could do this on vista print.

Can't help with any of the fancier things, but we had bog standard invites from them and they were fine. Did the job. But everyone was invited to the whole day, so easy just to put where and when for the ceremony, and where to go after (down the pub lol). Everyone was contactable on facebook should anyone want to know any more.

I love your invites Anna. I looked on vista print but didn't see any like these, did you design them from scratch?

Aw, thanks guys ? Because we were having different brown envelopes and tied together with twine we ordered the honeymoon poem tags from ebay and I ordered matching blank tags from the same supplier to hand stamp people's names on. Then it made the fact they were slightly different shades of brown much less noticeable! Really couldnt fault vistaprint service, their no quibble satisfaction guarentee is so good its worth risking an order with them.

Can't remember who asked the question, sorry! But the design we had was one of their predesigned templates. We used the invite for the wedding details and the bigger programme template for the reception details. Pretty sure they still have that option on their website!

    Hope that helps! Anna x

We used Vista Print for invitations to our engagement party, I can't fault the service. They were fantastic.

I second the suggestion of getting the sample paper pack - we upgraded to the linen texture card after seeing the different types.

Been using vistaprint for business stationary for years and can't fault them. You can always customise the post cards into anything you need like extra info
