I think I am being really stupid here so please could someone explain, its in relation to bank holidays and part time work.
There are 39 weeks in a term and part time staff are entitled to 5.2 weeks paid holidays in the period April 2008 - March 2009.
To calculate wages payable I would multiply the number of hours per week by 44.2 and then divide by 12. Why would staff who work 3 days be entitled to a paid bank holiday on top of this whereas staff working 5 days would not?
I'm sure its simple but I don't understand!!
