Decent and Anglesey don't go well together!

However, this place is nice. My step mum works there and her & my dad got married there (they live on Anglesey).

You'll be lucky around there - not many luxury hotels in that part of Wales.

Plas Bodegroes would be my choice - but no spa etc [V]

?at Anglesey and decent not going together! MIL called me the other week and said 'can you find me a luxury hotel at least 4 stars in Anglesey for easter weekend?' Err...no...

But this place is pretty goodhttps://www.bodysgallen.com/ . It's about 10 miles from there to Bangor where the Anglesey bridges are so that plus however far you're driving on Anglesey.

    Any good?

Mum went there for dinner a couple of weeks ago - very good, according it her. Much better than it used to be. This is a woman who insists on eating steak well done though...

I really liked the food at Bodysgallen - their cheese board is exceptional. It's a lovely hotel but definitely old-fashioned in its approach (ie you might think it's twee, not they serve tinned soup...) and it does have an older clientele.

Bodegroes has a michelin star - I think it's the only one in Wales? - and you don't need a pool, you have the sea ?
