Wall art

Buzzee, 27 January, 2013 at 17:34 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 21

So, having recently moved we now have a blank canvas in our living room. Where is good for not overly expensive wall art, I.e framed prints and canvasses?

It would be great to see flashes of your living rooms for inspiration on how to place them etc!

The missing paperwork has been sent off and is being processed as a priority - if you believe the mortgage broker. 5 months to issue a mortgage... really???

I have lots of images on pinterest of some photo walls which I would like in the hallway and some inspirational art which I would like to create...

I like that loveska! Am looking for something a little different to the usual landscapes! But I'm not arty at all so have no idea what I actually AM looking for until I see it!

Ahh I'll be watching this thread too. I want something really funky and bright, but I'm not good with colours etc.

We've just moved into a new build so it's totally a blank canvas. i want something funky and interesting but that doesn't take over.

Ha our walls are awful, we have some canvases (canvasi?) that I made myself when I had an acrylics phase, a sunflower picture my mum gave us, and a lovely wedding box canvas, but that's still waiting to be put up. This is it currently:

I have some personalised canvasses from Asda from photos we'd taken in London. I love them and they're amazing quality.

We've taken three of the more arty of our wedding photos and had them put onto three A2 canvasses.

Now, if H could kindly put them up sometime this century, that would be great.

*Yes, I could do it myself but he said he would.
