I keep checking Saturday's forecast and it seems to get worse every time I look! ☹️

Hi. I was like this! It was awful, I checked it twice a day and just kept seeing the rain clouds and feeling worried. STOP LOOKING!! It won't change anything!

Go and buy some nice brollys (we got giant see through golf umbrellas from M&S!) and remember, you won't care on the day... I promise. You really won't. And you can get some really gorgeous rainy photos, anyway.

I would see rain as a good omen if it rained on my day. Life on this earth can't survive without rain, so it could be fates way of giving you a little sprinkle of life giving magic for your day! ?

I am forever reassuring people on this cos we got married in Scotland in January and the weather the day before was WILD. High winds, driving rain, the lot. I thought my parents were gonna have to pick me up from the hotel and drive me to the venue, and it was literally across the road. Then on the day it was perfect - sunny, clear and cold. I couldn't have asked for better. So stop worrying! What will be, will be. And as Nims said, you won't care that much Smiley smile

Mines rain as well, I'm not too worried as we'll be inside for most of it but I do really want photo's outside and for people to be able to use the garden games. Hopefully the rain will hold off during drinks and canapes then it can do what it likes.

I had planned an outside wedding in a field at the end of July, including an outside ceramony. Light spotted showers turned into weather warnings and torrential rain and it MADE our day! It kept everyone close together, just grab a brolly and stand outside and the dance floor never emptied. Just make sure you have plan b ready.

My friend got married in June on a rainy day. We all still had a great day! And from her professional photos you would never think that it was grey and rainy, the pics look so colourful and bright!
