Wedding album

Gismo, 7 April, 2015 at 15:29 Posted on Planning 0 7

As we are getting married abroad and having a photographer out there we are now looking for someone who can put together a professional storyboard album - we are happy to pay the money and dont really want to do the cheap DIY versions. I wonder if anyone is able to recommend anyone?

Hello, to be honest I'm sure if you just spoke to any local wedding photographers they may be able to do it as they already have contacts of people who do albums etc and it would just be a case of them picking your pictures are sending it to the company that makes the album. Unless you can get hold of a company that makes them directly

I think many wedding photographers will offer this service. Make enquiries straight away as we are often too busy over the summer to take on extra jobs!

Check out previous designs (eg using an online gallery/proofing service) as designs vary a lot from one photographer to the next. My designs are very clean and simple, usually on white pages. You might want something like flowery backgrounds? Check that the style you like is what the photographer usually does!

I would have thought most photographers would offer this but the prices can vary wildly. One thing the photographer will need to see though is a license to print. This is hopefully something your photographer abroad will give you along with the images. Basically it gives permission for you to print from it. Without that then the photographer in the UK would be complicit in breaking Copyright. Something which no reputable photographer will do. So make sure you ask for it in writing if it's not given automatically.

    Hi Gismo,

I could do a wedding album for you. I work with (in my opinion) the finest wedding album makers: Queensberry. Take a look here: https://www.manumendoza.com/queensberry-albums-hampshire-wedding-photographer or here https://www.manumendoza.com/albums to see some pictures.

As Martin said, a 'copyright release for personal use' is needed. i'm sure your photographer will give it to you with the digital files.
